The Associate Director, Field Product Management is part of the Marketing Technology team of the Commercial and Launch Strategy, International organization. The MarTech team endeavors to define, deliver and scale the right technology products that enable international countries and regions to create and deploy high-value customer experiences and engagement.

This role drives the strategy and delivery across a range of Field capabilities and solutions including CRM and HCP Engagement apps to optimize performance and HCP engagement. Solutions include Sales Performance Management (SPM), Call Plan Management, Customer Segmentation and Typing tools, Field Assistants and AI Bots, Field emails/messaging. In addition, you will define and deliver strategies to incorporate AI, orchestration and automation into these capabilities. The AD of Field Product Management leverages approved technology platforms (Zaidyn, Salesforce, Veeva, Sprinklr) to shape and deliver Field solutions.

In this role, you will have a customer-first mindset and a strong understanding of Field Sales/Customer engagement technologies and strategies. This role requires a candidate with expertise in these capabilities as well as excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills to translate business problems and insights into strategies for commercial excellence.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Lead product management for Field capabilities, managing day-to-day operations, updates and planning of roadmap and deliverables
  • Develop strong partnership with DDIT, including overall plans/integrations development; develop internal comms plan to manage expectations and inform planning
  • Define a business- and market-led prioritization of Field solutions, with a strong link to commercial excellence goals
  • Define and drive a clear product management process to deliver on key business goals and customer needs
  • Collaborate with Field Excellence as well as markets to ensure right fit, co-creation, adoption, and utilization measurements
  • Translate business needs and user pain points into a roadmap of Field capabilities
  • Align with DDIT on selection and design of solutions and platforms, including strategic integrations
  • Partner with DDIT to develop and steer effective scalable delivery plans
  • Partner with the Field Product team (MarTech, DDIT, CLS) on all aspects of the product lifecycle, including discovery, design, user stories, product development, user testing, market adoption, feedback, data analysis, and iterative enhancements.
  • Work with business stakeholders to prioritize backlog and manage timelines
  • Drive omnichannel maturity by advancing innovative capabilities such as response optimization, AI-assisted optimization, touchpoint orchestration, and personalized messaging strategies.
  • Build a positive, collaborative and inclusive environment with transparency, openness, and knowledge-sharing to help each other improve and grow.
  • Partner and connect with regulatory and legal colleagues to ensure solutions and practices are compliant. Drive strong governance processes that accelerate growth and minimize complexity while reducing risk.

Essential Requirements:

Experience:

  • 8 years of experience delivering and operating globally scaled MarTech/Field solutions to support in-market performance and customer engagement, with demonstrated results.
  • Previous experience as a Product Owner/Manager of marketing/field technology capabilities.
  • SME of MarTech solutions; with a deep understanding of personalization.

Skills:

  • Expert in agile methods and product management.
  • Strong technology proficiency to ensure the right decisions on architecture, solutions, and integrations.
  • Synthesizes information to develop actionable recommendations and strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, time management, and negotiating skills.
